Another successful collection took place last week, organised in partnership with Waitrose. Volunteers from Lichfield foodbank were in store on Friday 10th August encouraging shoppers to donate to the foodbank. In the week leading up to Christmas the wonderful people of Lichfield and the surrounding area donated 3 Tonnes of food to the foodbank. That’s right – 3 Tonnes, and that did not include any special supermarket collections arranged by us. Thank you all so much!

A milestone passed

As of 30 November Lichfield foodbank has distributed over 252,000 meal equivalents since it was formed. This is a very significant milestone for us. Thank you so much to all the volunteers and to all those who have supported us with donations of food and money.
